Well, out of the hospital and recuperating at home with a wound-vac attached to my leg. Unfortunately, that means a few more weeks of unpaid time off of my day job. I've been running The Daily .WAV for over 20 years (actually started in late '95/early '96, but only started archiving the WAVs in '99), and have never had a pay-wall or any kind of fees or subscriptions. As many of you know, I've had necrotizing fasciitis twice in the past 14 years. Each of those times I had a well-paying jobs and insurance to cover everything. I was laid off in 2017, and not finding work, went through savings, had to rejoin the hourly wage force with no insurance. That means no income during my time in the hospital and no income while recuperating, which could be up to 3 months. Anything can help!
Well, new content may be few and far between.im in the hospital with a bad case of cellulitis. It may be a week or to until I'm available to post new audio clips.

As I'm sure you've noticed, some Quotes have a little player attached to them and some don't. Well, "thanks" (he said sarcastically) to the latest Windows 10 update, I no longer have the ability to save .WAV files with MP3 compression. So, I'm going to be putting all new files on the site as MP3s. I'm also going to be going back to all the files I've updated over the past 2 years and re-doing those as MP3s as well, but that's gonna take a bit of time to convert them all.
